She is currently a Regal team coach. Katherine is currently a level 6 gymnast for Regal Gymnastics. She was the 2009 level 4 Connecticut State Champion, and also enjoys playing the drums, piano, singing, and tap dancing. Laura and Katherine have always been home schooled.

Special Needs Gymnastics Classes

The special needs program at Regal offers excellent opportunities for the growth and development of children and young adults with special needs. We are dedicated to assisting our students in physical activities designed to promote sensory integration, strength, skill acquisition, self-confidence, and body awareness.

We offer both private and group classes taught by our exceptional coaches that are specifically trained to work with the special needs community. We also work closely with our on-call physical therapist to ensure each individual student's needs are being met.

Requirements for students enrolling in group classes:

  • Direct communication with our special needs coordinator, the Regal special needs coordinator.
  •  If you are a new student to Regal, a half hour evaluation must be scheduled before enrollment in the class.
  • Completed registration form before the first day of class.
  • Understanding that the classes are designed for children that are open to working in a group setting. If a child is in need of a different environment, they may be asked to enroll in private or semi-private lessons.
